The Aquanexx Marine team successfully executed the conversion of two Doosan Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes to Electric RTG (ERTG) configuration at NSFT. The scope of work included the supply of the Auxema Stemmann Power Cable Reel System, along with the necessary electrical and automation systems to enable electric operation. Our team carried out the required fabrication modifications on the existing cranes for the installation of the cable drum, followed by comprehensive commissioning and testing to ensure smooth integration and reliable performance. This conversion enhances operational efficiency, reduces fuel consumption, and supports a more sustainable port operation.
